MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AT AFRICA HEALTH EXCON - CAIRO - EGYPT
The Arab Hospitals Federation and the Egypt Healthcare Authority have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Africa Health ExCon in Cairo. This represents a powerful step toward meaningful change in how healthcare is delivered across the Arab world.

During Africa Health ExCon, the Arab Hospitals Federation had the opportunity to organize a high-impact one-day conference, launch the ‘Women for Well’ initiative, recognize nurses with the AHF ROSE Awards, and engage with healthcare leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across the region.

The Arab Hospitals Federation proudly participated in Africa Health ExCon 2025, held in Cairo under the theme “Beyond Boundaries Toward Better Health.” Our Executive Council Members and senior leaders took part in key sessions addressing healthcare sustainability, digital transformation, quality, and resilience.
MEETING WITH DR. AHMED TAHA CHAIRMAN OF GAHAR IN EGYPT
The AHF delegation had the honor to meet with Dr. Ahmed Taha Chairman of GAHAR in Egypt and discuss the path toward unified cooperation between the Authority and the federation.
INAUGURAL MEETING OF THE MEDITEH NETWORK SCIENTIFIC BOARD
The Arab Hospitals Federation, represented by its CEO, participated in the inaugural meeting of the MEDITeH Network Scientific Board, a major step toward strengthening Mediterranean collaboration in digital health. During this meeting, AHF officially signed the agreement to join the initiative and support the launch of the MEDITeH International Foundation by 2025.
THE 4TH OPEN MEETING BY GRANDI OSPEDALI - TURINITALY
At the 4th Open Meeting organized by Grandi Ospedali in Turin, Mrs. Alice Yammine Boueiz, CEO of the Arab Hospitals Federation, delivered a keynote address titled 'Beyond Borders: The Arab Vision for the Hospital of Tomorrow.' She proudly highlighted the Arab world’s active role in shaping a healthcare future that is safe, smart, and sustainable. From AI-driven care in Saudi Arabia to climate-smart hospitals in the UAE, the region is not waiting for change, it is leading it.
