AHF Leaders Select brings the region’s most significant healthcare leadership stories into view. It recognizes executives, founders, active owners, chairpersons and decision-makers whose achievements have transformed organizations, systems and markets.
Their work becomes an example for the next generation to learn from, build upon and ultimately surpass.
Position, reputation and organizational size alone are not enough. Selection is grounded in verified and meaningful achievement.
Credible, independently verified information supports every leadership review.
No applications, public nominations or campaigning. Membership, sponsorship and financial contributions do not determine selection.
An appointed Jury assesses credible, sustained contributions to healthcare. Final selection is collective, without rankings or percentage-based results.
What significant transformation or advancement occurred under this leader’s direction?
What credible, independent and verifiable evidence demonstrates the achievement?
How significant is the impact, and is it sustained beyond a temporary initiative?
How has it advanced healthcare quality, safety, access, innovation or sustainability?
One defining achievement explains why each leader was selected.

Purely ceremonial roles, passive shareholdings and honorary titles without active leadership authority are not eligible.
Hospitals and health systems; clinics and diagnostics; public health; pharmaceuticals and life sciences; medical devices and health technology; digital health and AI; insurance and other payors; supply chains; academic medicine and research; healthcare investment; and organizations with a material healthcare mandate.
No. There is no application, self-nomination or campaigning process. Selection cannot be purchased, sponsored or influenced by membership, partnership or financial contribution.
A juror with a conflict of interest must recuse themselves from the discussion and decision concerning the relevant candidate. Final selection is reached through consensus or, when necessary, majority vote. The Jury Chair holds the deciding vote in a tie.
